Prime grade: A clean board which should be straight grained with even colouration and without knots.
Mill run: Some grain variation, a small amount of colour variation and only a small quantity of knots permitted.
Rustic grade: Considerable grain and colour variation, up to 10% sapwood, large knots- some filled, dark streaks.
